Online attendance app for PT Columbus, replacing fingerprint scanners.
An online attendance app built in Flutter for PT Columbus, replacing fingerprint-based check-in with real-time, role-based attendance.
COLAB is a mobile attendance system built for PT Columbus to replace its fingerprint-based check-in machines. Employees check in and out from their phones, with attendance records synced in real time and access split by role between employees and admins.
Impact
Positive
Employee feedback
No exact figures tracked, but employees reported the app made daily attendance easier than the previous fingerprint scanner.
Brief
Problem
PT Columbus relied on fingerprint scanners for daily attendance, which were slow, prone to hardware issues, and inconvenient for employees to use consistently.
Solution
Built a Flutter mobile app backed by Firebase that lets employees check in and out online, with role-based access separating employee and admin views.
